Hello, Hotties! There were six of us who took the first step in the Hottie's 2008 training walk season on Sunday. Six of us did six miles! We started at the Arguello Gate because of a race that was taking place along the Warming Hut and Crissy Fields. And we walked up a few hills. Why? Because we are all walking in San Francisco this year and we need to get comfortable (again) with the hills here. It was an absolutely beautiful and clear day. We gave directions to tourists hungry for the perfect picture of the Golden Gate Bridge, and we cheered the racers who had started at Molly Stone in Sausalito (a familar place for us on our way to Tiburon).
Thanks to Linda's hard work, the training page is now up on the new Hottie website: warminghuthotties.com Please RSVP - it helps us plan a little better and have enough maps for everyone. This Saturday, join us at the Warming Hut at 8:00 a.m. for an 8 mile walk. And Eric will be joining us for route support.
We hope to see you soon at a training walk. And, thank you for walking to end breast cancer in our lifetime.
Andrea
